This 3 Days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari takes you Queen Elizabeth national park Uganda’s most popular tourist safari destination that is commonly known for the Ishasha tree climbing lions. The park is also offers panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with a school of hippos, some of the Big Five animals like Buffaloes and the Elephants. Not only game viewing, your also entitled to an adventurous boat ride along the Kazinga channel.

Itinerary for the 3 Days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari

Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning breakfast, our guides will pick you from Kampala by 8:00am and drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a few stops at the Equator to take some photographs and in Mbarara for lunch (at an extra cost).

From there you will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you marvel at the breath-taking scenery, tea plantations, the open grasslands, long horned – Ankole Cattle, the woodlands and the Rift Valley Escarpment. Have a game drive in the evening as you drive to your place of place. Dinner and overnight at your place of residence in Kasese or in the park at twin lakes safari lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a game drive along the Queen’s Mile plus the Kasenyi trail. On this trail you will see elephants, water bucks, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs plus warthogs in addition to several birds. Return for breakfast plus lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 2 hours boat ride on the Kazinga Channel where you will encounter Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, kobs plus warthogs among others. This ride will also enable you to see an array of birds. Dinner and overnight at your place of residence in Kasese or in the park at twin lakes safari lodge.

Day 3: Departure
With wonderful memories of the previous day, you will have a hefty breakfast as you prepare for a primate walk (at an extra cost); have lunch before continuing to Kampala. However, visiting the Igongo Cultural Village is an experience that shouldn’t be missed. (meal plan is B.B)
