The 3 days wildlife safari takes you to Akagera national park Rwanda’s protected area mainly for game viewing. The park can be explored during the game drive and boat cruise at Lake Ihema as you view a variety of wildlife in the savannah grassland kind of vegetation.
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera national park.
Early morning after breakfast at 8:00am drive to Akagera national park, the park has a well dotted savannah view giving one opportunity to spot a number of game. Arrive in time for lunch, have Lunch and head for afternoon boat cruise at Lake Ihema to see crocodiles and hippos. Later dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game viewing
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive to see the morning risers and a variety of bird species roaming in the park grazing and hunting. Drive back to the lodge for lunch, after lunch relax at the lodge until evening. Prepare to go and the night game drive get a chance to view the common cats within the park which move during the night and rest day time plus the big five game . Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure
Take breakfast and enjoy your drive back to Kigali international airport and catch your flight back home. However you can decide to have Kigali city tour and see the genocide memorial and other cultural sites in the city.
