Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
Welcome to Rwanda. On arrival at Kigali International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Hotel. Later, settle into the Hotel and meet one of our Company representatives for a briefing and welcome drink to go through the details of our 4 days Nyungwe Helicopter safari.
Later, choose some of our City excursion options such as the Kigali genocide Memorial center, the local Kamironko market, the Inema Art Center, and other historical sites. Settle for a mouth-watering meal and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Helicopter ride from Kigali International Airport to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Following a delicious breakfast at the Hotel, you will drive to the Airport for the scenic Helicopter flight to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The flight is only 45 minutes and if you are lucky to get the window seat, you will enjoy clear views of the verdant rainforest, the stunning countryside, winding Rivers, and Valleys. On arriving in Nyungwe, our safari driver will be ready to take you to the Lodge for meals and overnight.

Day 3: Full-day Nyungwe Forest tour- Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk
The 12 habituated gorilla families in Volcanoes National Park deserve time for trekking and on this day, get ready to undertake your gorilla trekking adventure. Be at the Park headquarters by 7:00 am for briefing, followed by the guided walk through Nyungwe Forest National Park to search for the chimpanzees. It should take about 1-5 hours before these Great Apes are finally spotted and when sighted, you will spend one hour watching them play, eat, rest and groom each other while taking photos. A hot lunch awaits you at the Lodge.
In the afternoon, continue for the canopy walk, which will introduce you to the views of tree canopies, primate species, birds, and the verdant gorges. Settle for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4: Helicopter ride from Nyungwe Forest National Park to Kigali International Airport
