The 4 Days Birding In Rwanda expose you to most of the interesting natures among the thousand hills. Visit Nyungwe Forest, the massive montane forest found in southern Rwanda and the largest in Central Africa. Nyungwe is home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees and large groups of Rwenzori Colobus. Around 300 bird species, orchids and butterflies are other attractions that are within the park. While on safari, clients stay 3 nights at the basic ORTPN Gisakura Resthouse which is situated on the Western edge of Nyungwe forest.
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport
When you arrive at Kigali airport, you will straight away start Bird watching because Rwanda Birds are among the welcoming biodiversity around the place. Then you relax at the lodge or hotel. Watch birds all along the way.

Day 2: Kigali-Akagera for birding.
Today, you will transfer to Akagera National Park about a 5-hour drive, later in the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you have a chance to see some animals including giraffes, Impalas, Topis, the Zebras, bushbucks, African swallows, eland, the vervet monkeys, warthogs, baboons, Mongoose, the hippos, the crocodiles, as well as the elephants and bird species

Day 3: Full Day Birding
After morning breakfast, you will embark on your full-day bird watching in Akagera National Park which is always impressed by what they find mostly the many bird species that range from water to forest and also savannah as well as the migratory bird species and many of these are endemic to the park and are so rare like the papyrus gonolex which is found in the papyrus swamps. In the afternoon, you will have a boat trip along Lake Ihema, this gives you the opportunity to get close to the plentiful water birds including numerous African fish eagles, marabou stork, crowned cranes, open-billed stork, cormorants, herons, and egrets. If you are lucky you may even get to see the elusive shoebill stork.
Day4: Departure.
After morning breakfast, you will have an en-route drive as move out to the Park with lunch en-route and drive back to the airport for your evening flight.
